ARC rescues hundreds of homeless cats and kittens each year that are in need of caring lifelong homes. Many are adopted by loving people living overseas.

At any one time we may have over 800 cats living in our shelter so it is impossible to show them all on here but we endeavour to show as many as possible.

Whether you come and visit our fabulous cat house or make an enquiry from a distance, we will do everything we can to match you with your perfect pet. All of our cats are vaccinated, spayed or neutered before they enter our shelter.

We are host to hundreds of dogs. Big, small, young, old, fat, skinny, some wild and some tame, but all the dogs in our care are wonderful souls in need of a loving home.

Before re-homing, they are vaccinated, checked for parasites and viruses, microchipped and sterilised. As with our cats many go to loving homes overseas.

With over 800 loving dogs in our care we try to feature as many as we can here but will we do everything we can to match you with your new best friend.

The shelter is also home to many horses and ponies, donkeys and goats as well as smaller animals such as rabbits, all of whom are also looking for loving homes.

Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment and should not be entered into lightly. This is why we undertake strict re-homing checks before releasing any of our animals into your care.

The first step towards adopting is to submit an adoption application. You may do so online or in person by calling in to the shelter.

Once you have submitted an adoption application, our staff will contact you within 24-72 hours. We have strict re-homing protocols which will be explained when we contact you.
