I visited the shelter while I was on holiday and would like to adopt one of your rescue animals, how do I go about it?

How much are the adoption fees?
We do not sell our animals. When you adopt a pet from ARC your adoption fee covers the cost of your pet being sterilised, tested for internal and external parasites and viruses, vaccinated, and for dogs microchipped.
How much does it cost to send an animal overseas?
This will depend upon the country as each country has their own set of regulations, requirements and fees. Our expert team will advise you on this as well as the cost of travel.
How should I introduce my new pet into the house, especially with small children?
When you choose to adopt a pet, we will discuss with you your family circumstances to ensure that your pet is a good fit with your family. Our re-homing team will talk to you about this at length as any pet is a long-term commitment for you and your family
How should I introduce my new dog to my old dog?
This is where it is so important to choose the right dog and breed and our re-homing will guide you on this and how to introduce another pet into your household.
