Margaret has been a long-time supporter of ARC and has adopted several dogs. Two years ago, she was introduced to Django, an elderly Chihuahua who had been treated very badly and was on end-of-life care. Nobody expected him to still be alive today as he was brought in such a poor way.
Margaret took him home; his skin was grey and he was very thin so Margaret wrapped him up and poured love into his aching body. TWO YEARS ON and Django is still with Margaret. He has his off days like us all and is on medication but just look at his beautiful white coat now! And to top it all he has had 1st place in both best veterans and best rescue at Caring Canine’s dog shows! Thank you so much Margaret for showing us that dogs of any age just need a loving home to thrive.
