A lovely couple drove all the way from Limassol to bring us 4 newly born kittens. They found the kittens in a box by a wheelie bin, the mother lay dead beside them. They wrapped the new borns in soft fleece material and called everyone in Limassol they could find to help them. Sadly, not one took their call so they drove to Paphos. They arrived not only with the kittens but also milk and feeding bowls.
They also gave a generous donation. Our wonderful nursing staff on duty took over and started to feed them. Once fed they were all placed on a heated blanket and are being fed every two hours even through the night. They were just 48 hours old when we received them. Sadly, the smallest of the four passed away but the three remaining are doing well.
The lovely couple had never been to us before so we showed them around and they were so impressed with our clinic, the wok we do and how clean it was. In their words ‘We can feel the love and the passion here’. They left for Limassol knowing that the kittens were in safe hands having been told that we will try to rehome them but if not, they will always have a home with us in our cat house.
