This is the story of Jacob, a lovely boy, a real giant, who came to us with a broken spine. A long road was starting for him not knowing what would be the final outcome. Two surgeries later, Jacob spent his time in his special big cage with a padded floor where he enjoyed his sleeps and treats.
Due to the severity of his spine problems, he made a remarkable recovery but will always get tired quicker than other dogs his age and will need long periods of rest, but he soon got used to his new self and has adapted brilliantly, thoroughly enjoying it.
During his months of recovery, Jacob revealed a real personality that was as huge as his body. Jacob is the kindest, most gentle dog ever, in love with humans and other animals alike. He melts like butter when good humans pet him, he loved to play with our dear Trevor-cat and interact with any animals in the gentlest of ways.
Especially Bruna, who like Jacob, came in with a broken spine and had only a small hope of getting better. Surgeries, treatment, therapy and a LOT of care later, check them out when they were in clinic playing like mad and having a great time. When with us Jacob would let himself out of his kennel and then go open up Bruna’s so they could go outside and play.
We so wanted you to see just how far they have come and to show that with love and care anything is possible
Jacob is goofy and always happy and he officially has the kindest eyes ever… In short, Jacob is one AMAZING guy! Given the all clear by the vet, Jacob was adopted by the perfect family in Sweden where he is loved and now lives the perfect life he SO deserves!
And Bruna too found her loving forever home adopted by wonderful family in Russia. She is now living the best life ever.
